How do I add an allowance in L1NDA?

How do I add an allowance in L1NDA? This article explains how L1NDA Planner can calculate allowances over particular hours, shifts or days.

When staff is entitled to an allowance, for instance on public holidays or for night-shifts, we can include this in your L1NDA Planner! This is only applicable for allowances that are paid out.

NOTE!
It works differently when an employee receives extra hours instead of addition salary.
Please read this article.

Public holiday allowance
Example: all employees that worked on a public holiday receive 200% salary on this day. This means they will receive an additional 100% on top of their regular salary.
L1NDA Planners enables you to easily view these public holidays in the hour registration. Whenever you schedule an employee on this public holiday, you will clearly see the +100% hours in the hour registration (see image below).

Allowance based on time
Example: all employees that work between 00:00 - 07:00 receive a night-shift allowance of 50%. This means that all employees that work between these time slots will receive an addition 50% on top of their regular salary. You can find this allowance in the hour registration, as can be seen in the image above.

Type of shift (a special role/task)
When an employee receives an allowance for a certain role or task, we can add a 'type of shift' including the allowance to your L1NDA Planner. You can add this type of shift to any employee and the allowance will be added to their entire shift. You can find this allowance in the hour registration, as can be seen in the image above.
